Aella is a choir of 12 young females from the Ottawa area who are touring five Nova Scotia venues. In its third year of existence, the choir will choose selections from a repertoire that includes women's stories and experiences, a kitchen party, and a celebration of Canadian music.The choir is directed by Jennifer Berntson and accompanied by Shawn Potter, both of whom graduated from Mount Allison University. A freewill offering will be taken for the Organ Scholarship Fund of the Annapolis Valley Centre of the Royal Canadian College of Organists.
