Part of the on-going summer series in Canning, Mohammad Sahrei and members of his Open Borders ensemble will join us this weekend at the ArtCan, with an opening set of classical guitar and original songs by host Kim Barlow.
Open Borders is an international music group based in Halifax, Nova Scotia with more than 25 multicultural musicians. Open Borders creates original compositions as well as reworks traditional songs from around the globe.
In this performance specifically we will play some folklore and traditional Iranian music.
