Public Talk - Heading for Extinction and What We Can Do About It
Tuesday July 16, 2019  6:30pm - 8:30pm (2 Hours)
Lecture / Seminar

This public talk has been given hundreds of times in the UK and over a dozen times in Nova Scotia.

We will share the latest climate science on where our planet is heading, discuss some of the current psychology around climate change denial, and offer solutions through the study of social movements.

Note - we are not trying to "save the planet"...we are at the point where we need to save ourselves. The Earth itself will go on...the issue is whether we as humans and all other species will be here too.

ALL WELCOME!

There will be an opportunity for folks to talk with one another and meet others who share your concerns + Q & A.

This is an emergency.
We need to build a mass movement that is prepared to accept what is happening and act accordingly.

This event takes place on UNCEDED, and UNSURRENDERED Territory of the Mi’kmaq People. We are all Treaty People and have responsibilities to each other and this land. More info on the Peace and Friendship Treaties: http://mikmaqrights.com/negotiations/treaties

There will be a donation jar at the event to help cover costs.
