Join us to speak directly with Kings-Hants Candidates in the upcoming Federal Election about how they are going to address the Climate Crisis.
This Forum will be moderated and audience participation is vital and will be via written questions to understand the Candidates' commitment and intended actions to address the climate emergency.
In preparation, Candidates have already been sent the following questions that we will be asking them to respond to at each Forum.
What do you know about Extinction Rebellion (XR)?
If you are elected, do you promise to tell the truth about Climate Change and the Climate Crisis? How will we know this is being done?
If elected, will you work for Canada reaching the target of reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2025? How will we know you are doing this?
If elected, will you work with all political parties and citizens wanting to create a fully functioning democracy and a citizens' assembly to represent the will of the people to deal with the climate crisis? How will we know you are doing this?
The government that runs our country for the next 5 years will make critical decisions impacting whether or not we will have a livable future. Your vote has never mattered more.
