The Melgita't Women are a Mi'kmaq hand-drum group from the Annapolis Valley and South Shore. They will be doing their traditional Smudging Ceremony, a cleansing smoke bath to purify the body and energy. This will be outdoors, at the big tree in front of Festival Theatre, prior to Deep Roots first Main Stage show.
