Workshop / Class Wheelchair Accessible All Ages
Please join Charlotte Janes, AVRL's Systems and Collections Access Coordinator, during Media Literacy Week for this timely presentation. It can be tough to tell what’s true and what’s “fake news” just by looking at a headline. But it’s easy to do a quick check and get the real facts when something doesn’t look right online. Walk away from this workshop with the knowledge you need to help Break the Fake by stopping the spread of false info by using these tips to check before sharing! Thanks to Media Smarts for the workshop material: http://mediasmarts.ca/get-involved/media-literacy-week-break-fake
