Workshop / Class Wheelchair Accessible
The word “poem” comes from the Greek poiein “create” and in this workshop we will be learning about the magic of metaphor and music, and how they combine to create a new experience for both writer and reader. Among the topics we will cover are the places we find poems, the tools we use to make them, what to watch for while writing, and some poetic forms to try. With almost thirty years of experience as a creative writing instructor and six published poetry collections, Dr. Wanda Campbell is well equipped to offer guidance and answer questions. So bring your pen and paper and come prepared to create. Pre-registration is required, sign-up now.
