The Hants West Food Action Council is a newly formed local group working together to improve community food security and the food environment in Hants West. We are hosting our first event. We will be one of many EAT THINK VOTE 2019 events across Canada that will bring the residents of Kings-Hants riding together with the local federal candidates for the upcoming election and we'll be facilitating community discussion on the impacts food insecurity has on our residents.
At this time we have confirmed three of the six local candidates will be attending and are looking forward to confirming the remainder.
We ask that you share this event with you networks and your communities - we would love to see as many residents of the Kings-Hants Riding represented at this event as each community faces their own unique challenges and opportunities within this larger public issue. I have attached a poster as well for everyone to share.
