Ryan Cook & Sunny Acres are a five-piece eclectic Country/Western & Swing ensemble that blends jazz, hillbilly, & folk with home-brewed Canadian ballads. The band features Cook centre-stage on acoustic guitar in his familiar thumb-picking fashion along with Kye Ehresman (drums), Dave Campbell (pedal steel), Jill Chambers (upright bass) and Phil Sedore (lead guitar). The show includes songs from Cook’s award-winning albums, most recently Having A Great Time (2018 Music Nova Scotia Country Recording of the Year), plus a special medley to Buck Owens & The Bakersfield Sound that you will not want to miss!
