Join the Valley Women's Business Network in hitting the New Year running when we host Anne Stieger from the Acadia Entrepreneurship Centre who will present the Lean Canvas Business Model. The Lean Canvas is a 1-page business plan template that helps you explore your idea by breaking it down into key assumptions. The Canvas is part of the Lean Startup methodology with a big emphasis on finding customer problems worth solving. It has 9 basic building blocks – together, they become an actionable and entrepreneur-focused business plan, that is easy to overview and fits on one page. It can help you create a quick snapshot of your idea, share it for feedback, and refine it iteratively – quickly and with little risk. It’s a great way to think through a new offer, project or business. In this interactive session we’ll go over the 9 areas of Lean Canvas, learn how to use key questions to double check if the model can work, and then apply it right away.
