International Women's Day events have occurred for almost 120 years and are now celebrated in over 100 countries. The theme for this year is #EachForEqual and how an equal world is an enabled world.
The event is an uplifting celebration of all the positive work done to-date and a collaborative sharing of the vision for what equality can look like in our personal lives and the Valley.
There will also be multi-media, spoken word and dance performances.
Join us in bring your voice and vision to the International Women's Day celebration. The event is free and all are welcome. Call the Women's Place Resource Centre to learn more.
