Come out for our first Try it in Wolfville event of the summer!

Join Djugdjug Ensemble for a FREE hands-on West-African drumming workshop. You will learn a few djembe rhythms and play along to a traditional song. Drums are provided, but feel free to bring your own. The workshop is intended for beginners, but all levels are welcome!

More About Djugdjug Ensemble:
Propelled by the power of purple, Djugdjug Ensemble facilitates drumming and dance workshops, performs, leads parades, and collaborates with other musicians and artists to create experiences with a strong rhythmic foundation. The group is led by Bruno Allard, who has been learning, playing and sharing his passion for West African percussion for over 15 years. They are based in and around Wolfville.

We hope to see you there!

*In the case of rain, a note will be posted on the event page and the session will be held at the Wolfville Rec Centre at 7 Victoria Ave.
