Peer Supporter Training for
Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse

Survivors of Abuse Recovering (S.O.A.R.)

S.O.A.R. is a community-based, volunteer, charitable organization that offers peer and group support services to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and provides public education to the community. S.O.A.R. is currently active in Hants, Kings and Annapolis Counties. We welcome interest from other regions in Nova Scotia.

Would you like to help? In May 2021, S.O.A.R. is offering a free 16-week peer supporter training for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse who have progressed sufficiently in their recovery that they feel ready to assist others in healing. To register, phone or email no later than April 16, 2021. Location and time provided at screening.
