Gamelan is an Indonesian bronze-percussion orchestra of gongs, gong-chimes and metallophones. The gamelan-in-residence at Acadia University's School of Music is a gamelan degung, which performs the melodic and groovy styles which are popular in the Sundanese region of West Java.
We hope you will join us to hear this resonant and beautiful ensemble in concert.
