As an essential service, the Public Market will remain open for our Kings County community. As outlined to us through Public Health Guidelines, (with specific guidelines from the Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia who are in direct contact with Public Health to clarify guidelines for Farmers’ Markets) we are to operate at 25% capacity.
OUR SATURDAY MORNING EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN AROUND FOR 27 YEARS AND IT TRULY IS A STAPLE IN OUR CUSTOMERS’ WEEKEND PLANS. AS WE MOVE INDOORS, WE ARE FORTUNATE TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND WELCOMING MARKET.
This socially distanced Indoor Farmers’ Market will feature 35 vendors, so that you can continue to get fresh and local products from the people who grow for you and you know and care about. Our vendors offer a variety of bread and pantry items as well as many prepared options, to offer you your favourite dishes as you embark on the rest of your day.
Additionally our new Farm and Art Market Store will be open during the Saturday market! We are stocked with pantry, frozen foods and more!
Safety features include a unidirectional walkway, plexiglass barriers, hand sanitizers, mask wearing and excellent ventilation of open doors.
And through it all we will be welcoming you with smiling eyes, grateful for your support and cherishing the relationships we have with you at this time and always.
