Domestic violence used to be a “mind your own business” issue. But times have changed. And employer requirements have changed. Now, more than ever, domestic violence is a workplace issue.

As part of our monthly networking series, VWBN is proud to bring you “Make it our Business” – a short training program provided by the Chrysalis House Association. You will learn how to recognize signs that may be present in the workplace and will know how to confidently and meaningfully respond to support and protect workers. You will also learn where community supports are available and to help with safety plans.

Chrysalis House, based in Kentville, is a safe and non-judgmental environment providing shelter and outreach services for women and children. These services include support, advocacy, referrals, resources, public education and community development.

The presentation will include a Q&A session. You will receive the link to the Zoom meeting just before the event.
