A collaboration between Avon River Arts and Avon River Heritage, Artisans in Action returns with a series of pop-up markets designed to showcase Nova Scotian artists and artisans who focus on historical trades, crafts, and art forms done in both traditional and contemporary manners.
Taking place in and around the rustic Avon Spirit Shipyard in Avondale/Newport Landing, nestled along the shore of the mighty Avon River, these open air markets are an opportunity for artists and artisans to engage an audience by presenting a window into their creative process, while also offering their products for sale.
The museum will be hosting a BBQ fundraiser during
each event, between noon and 4.

Pricing & Tickets
Pricing: The cost to participate is $25 per artisan, per market. Tables, chairs, electricity and refreshments are provided.
