Wolfville is going to the dogs as the Town throws its very first Pooch Party at Waterfront Park. The new, one-day event includes contests, community walks, doggy splash pools, hot dogs, prizes, and a lure course where dogs can test their speed and agility.
The new event is designed to bring the community together for interactive fun and you don’t need a pooch to participate – you just need a love of dogs.
A fashion show is planned for dogs who like to dress-up and guided Mutt Struts will happen through the day, featuring different themes. For those who want more of an athletic experience, a guided walk will head to Reservoir Park for off-leash play and a swim while another walk will focus on local history. All the walks provide an opportunity for community members to connect.
Bleachers will be provided for those who wish to watch the dog dynamics.

Pricing: The event is free to attend but there is a $5 fee to run the lure course.
