8am-9am REGISTRATION FOR 5 KM WALK OR RUN at: Oakdene Center. Cost $5.00

10am 5 KM WALK OR RUN Cost $5.00 Start from Oakdene. Different age categories: Junior = 19years & under, Masters =40-49, Senior Masters = 50-59years, Golden Master 60-69years, Platinum 70 years old and up. Prizes awarded. Bring your own water. Contact: Debra Bradley @ 467-0445

3pm-4pm WINTER CARNIVAL PRINCE & PRINCESS COMPETITION Children compete with winter activities at the Bear River Waterfront park. There will be a fashion show, a talent portion, and an outdoor activity section. The competitors will have to do a short write up on themselves and what they are wearing, which will be read during the fashion show (this should be 1 to 3 minutes in length.) There will be two age groups, 5-9 years old, and 10-13 years old. Contact: Heather Charlton 467-3269

5pm to 6pm VALENTINE'S DAY TURKEY DINNER at Bear River Firehall sponsored by The United Church $10.00 per person. Children under 12 for free. Contact Shirley 467-3655

Hot Chocolate and Coffee outside behind the Bear River Legion before and after fireworks. Rain date Sunday 7:30pm.
