Music Festival / Fair Wheelchair Accessible Family Friendly Dog Friendly Outdoor Community
info@musicincommunities.com
Celebrate all that the Village of Canning has to offer, and the great talent that lives in our area, with this weekly outdoor concert in the gazebo.
This Saturday we welcome Anne-Marie Williot and the High Strung String Band to the gazebo for our first official Canning Kitchen Party of 2022!
Anne-Marie Williot is a trilingual multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter hailing from rural Quebec, and now based in Winnipeg. A honed poet and performer, she writes and sings in a deliciously melodic blend of old and new sounds, often evocative of candle-lit cafes. https://annemariewilliot.bandcamp.com/album/cheval-g-ant
The High Strung String Band is a group of enthusiastic ukulele players, ranging from beginner to intermediate, and meet weekly at the Woodville Community Hall to play music and have some fun with the direction of Sarah McInnis. This group of 60+ in age proves you're never too old to learn something new!
