This week's guest artists: Freya Milliken Trio (Freya Milliken, Tyler McDonald, and Conner Morrison) & NKEC Jammers!
Freya Milliken is an incredible emerging singer-songwriter from Dorchester, NB, now entering her final year in Acadia University's Bachelor of Music program. She draws inspiration from a variety of genres, such as folk, pop, rock, and jazz, and her music is often praised for its thoughtfulness, infusing perceptive lyrics with tasteful accompaniments on guitar to evoke heartfelt songs which describe the human experience. Her trio includes Tyler McDonald (Cape Breton) on drums and Conner Morrison (Pictou County) on bass guitar, both of whom are graduates of Acadia's music program, and together they help bring Freya's songs to life with care, passion and empathy, always paying close attention to detail.
