New work from Sarah Reesor & Sophie Paskins
Sarah Reesor
Involving many layers and multiple attempts, Sarah enjoys painting rabbits, flowers and large dresses. She also enjoys the final creative act of installing simple text messages and written observations onto each and every painting she is able to complete.
Originally from Ontario, Sarah is very happy to now call Nova Scotia home.
Sophie Paskins
Sophie Paskins' recent focus has been on non-objective painting; relying on colour and mark-making to build the painted environment. She has always enjoyed drawing (human figure, birds, bones), and this latest work is a bit of an experiment in bringing those elements together.
Originally from the UK, Sophie has lived in Nova Scotia since 2007.
