Sean McCann, is not only an award winning musician and co-founder of the Canadian band, Great Big Sea, but also a recent recipient of the Order of Canada for his continuing work to advocate for those who struggle with mental health and/or addiction issues. He will engage his audience with songs from his current Shantyman cd as well as some Great Big Sea favourites. The beautiful architecture of the historic Trinity Anglican Church in Digby will provide an intimate setting. Sean looks forward to bringing people together to overcome life's most difficult challenges, using music as his medicine.
This is a fundraiser for Digby Scallop Days. The Association is proud to sponsor this event, to bring some comfort to the community.
