From Vaughan Williams’ exquisite Fantasia on Greensleeves to Cree composer Cris Derksen’s stunning Round Dance, this program offers a festive symphonic feast for all. Then, don’t miss an exciting return appearance from former Symphony Nova Scotia Concertmaster Robert Uchida (now Concertmaster of the Edmonton Symphony), who joins forces with the Toronto Symphony’s dynamic Principal Cellist Joe Johnson for a rare Nova Scotia performance of a true musical treat – Brahms’ bold, soaring, and spectacular Double Concerto.
