The Acadia School of Music's Concert & Lecture Series presents a recital by Ellen Torrie.
Ellen is a soprano, songwriter - and an AUSOM alumni! As an early music performer, they believe that audiences' love of early repertoire could be deepened by expanding beyond the limited scope of academic authority to include lost voices and creative modalities of the past. Their recital, LĀR, is a performance project using elements of historical performance practice and modern performance tools to democratize music and facilitate community storytelling.
The Concert and Lecture Series is free and community members are welcome to attend. Please note that masks are required on the Acadia campus.
