Calling all knitters! Would you like to contribute to a charity and have a chance to win a prize? This program is for you!
Choose between two styles of toques to knit. Find the free knitting patterns at the links below:
1. The Kindness Cap by Briggs and Little ( https://briggsandlittle.com/product/the-kindness-cap/)
2. Classic Ribbed Hat by Purl SoHo (https://www.purlsoho.com/create/2019/01/30/classic-ribbed-hat/)
Using 100% wool is best, but any wool/acrylic blend is fine.
Drop off your hat(s) to any Annapolis Valley Library branch by November 30, 2022 and you will be entered in a prize draw.
You must attach your name and phone number to each hat that you make. The more hats you knit, the more chances you have to win!
The hats will be distributed between Mission to Seafarers in Halifax and Open Arms in Kentville.
Open to anyone who is able to drop off their hats to an AVRL location.
