Flying Squirrel Adventures (through Blomidon Naturalists Society) is now licensed as a Duke of Edinburgh Award Centre. In partnership with Y-Reach, Valley Community Learning Association, Kids Action Program, and others, we are continuing our youth engagement and leadership development work in a new way to better serve youth in the Valley.
This will be our first outdoor adventure outing, in preparation for our Award Expedition in the spring. We will set out on a snowshoe hike and enjoy snacks around a fire we build, as an opportunity to build a more united group. Youth ages 13-18, already registered in this program or in the interested stage, are welcome to come join us for this great winter adventure. Visit our website for registration.
