The Blanket Exercise is a 3 hour intensive workshop that focuses on treaty education and Canadian history.
Please note that this session will be held virtually via Zoom and that if possible, the use of a desktop or laptop computer is preferable for participation. Tablets, phones, and other hand-held devices to do not allow for all Zoom features which will be utilized in the vKBE.
Trigger Warning: The vKBE walks through difficult life experiences such as Indian Residential Schools, the Sixties Scoop, and other examples of colonial violence and policies that have negatively affected Indigenous peoples. Special features have been added to the presentation to both monitor and support participants, including a private chat for those who may need to talk to someone.
Registration is required. Open to everyone ages 18+.
