Do you have a story to tell? Join us for a cup of tea and listen to others’ stories or share one of your own. All stories and forms of storytelling are welcome: oral storytelling, poetry, songwriting, art, etc. If you happened to know Charles or Mabel Macdonald, we would love to hear what you remember about them. We will be sharing our own stories about Charlie and Mabel. As storytelller Thomas King once said, "The truth about stories is that that's all we are." At the Charles Macdonald House, we recognize the importance of storytelling in creating a sense of self, community, and connection and seek to preserve community history by keeping stories alive.
