CentreStage Presents: Sadie Flynn Comes to Big Oak by Norm Foster
The gossip mill is working overtime when convicted husband killer Sadie Flynn gets off the bus in Big Oak after her release from prison. Soon after her arrival, strange things begin to happen in the small town. Sadie meets the colorful locals including Tom, the owner and operator of "Millie’s Cabin," Big Oak’s only café; Tom's loyal employee the sweet and innocent Orson; and Bev and Rachel their only regulars. Upon arriving and seeing the situation Sadie is in, the boys help her out with a job and a place to stay. When Sadie sees some of the town’s marital problems, Sadie is sure she can be of help!
Sadie Flynn Comes to Big Oak by Norm Foster is a sweet and spicy adult comedy sure to raise your eyebrows and drop your jaw. As with all his plays, Norm Foster captures real life conversation and relationships. This show is suitable for any audience young teen and up.
Sadie Flynn Comes to Big Oak is directed by Candy O’Brien and stars Cherie Zinck, Mindy Vinqvist-Tymchuk, Colleen Hagen, Mark Crouse and Tim Hawkins.
