The event is open to all ages and skill levels. We will be doing prizes based on the number of people registered, and will also do a pairing system based on how many participants there are (round robin or Swiss). After the event is over, local ratings will be calculated and posted.
You can pre-register at Kentville Chess meetings, or register on the day of the event.
Registration at 5:30pm, Start at 6pm, End at 8pm
Entry fee: $5 (some proceeds to go to purchasing new equipment for the club)
Time controls: 5 minutes per side
Cash and trophy prizes for winners (dependent on the number of registrants).
