Another great show coming to Canning thanks to Easter Productions. The Annex is a beautiful new venue in downtown Canning (don't go up the mountain!) and these musicians will fill it with excellent music.
Tyler Messick's music features experimental guitar work at breakneck speeds, and driving rhythm sections that keep this original collection of songs charting a course through Americana, Brit Pop, courtly folk and more.
Absolute Losers is a post-punk trio consisting of drummer and backing vocalist Daniel Hartinger, guitarist and backing vocalist Josh Langille, and bassist and lead vocalist Sam Langille that formed in January of 2019. Absolute Losers write pop songs hidden beneath wiry guitar work, intertwining bass and drum parts, and nonchalant vocals. Rather than overcompensating, the band leans into the thinness of a trio with active interplay between instruments making each instrumental part count.
