The 2nd annual Annapolis Heritage Society Gingerbread House Competition will add sugar and spice to the much loved Victorian Christmas celebration at the O’Dell House Museum. Gingerbread artists of all ages and backgrounds are invited to compete for prize ribbons in several exciting categories.
HOW TO ENTER:
Entry Forms are available on our webpage, and may be submitted by mail, email or in person by November 17, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
Gingerbread creations must be delivered to the O’Dell House Museum for judging by 4:00 p.m. November 24th
ENTRY CATEGORIES:
Adult- 19 years of age and older
Teen- 13 to 18 years old
Child- 12 years old and under
Special Awards:
- Best historic building replica
- Best use of colour
- Most unusual decoration ingredient
- People’s choice
Winners will be announced at the O’Dell House Museum on Nov. 24th at 7pm. Entries will be displayed until Dec. 2nd, at which time the People’s Choice Award will be announced. Visit the display to cast your vote.
We happily accept donations to keep our Museums viable and to continue to present exciting events such as these!
