It's been a long timing coming, but it was well worth the wait. Back by popular demand...
The Fabulously Rich is a live tribute to The Tragically Hip. The band formed in 2016 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The idea came about when the news broke that Gord Downie had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. The original idea was to reunite a group of old friends, who began their music careers playing together in high school, to present a tribute to one of the bands they all loved, and most frequently covered.
The Fabulously Rich has come together to pay tribute to this monumental Canadian band, while at the same time, helping to raise money for The Downie Wenjack Fund for each show they play.
“The mere thought of anyone daring to attempt a cover of these sacred tunes is enough to send a hardcore fan into a blind rage. However, as the countless sold-out shows and the jam-packed Taverns will attest, these fellas in The Fabulously Rich are the real deal.” - T. Savoury (Hafilax.com)
