We are putting on a series of concerts entitled "A Concert of Compassion" where one hundred percent of all proceeds are going directly to help local families in the area that are homeless and in need of assistance. Juno Award Winning singer Remigio is touring the province and raising his voice for the cause.
This Canadian singer-songwriter and musician went from performing opera in church basements to becoming a Juno award winning multi-platinum selling recording artist, and sharing the world stages with Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Sting, Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli, and David Foster. As a member of the well known musical group The Tenors, he has performed at the White House, and before The Queen of England, The Dalai Lama, various world presidents and was on The Oprah Winfrey Show in the famous Hallelujah “surprise duet” with Celine Dion. You can hear him on three critically acclaimed PBS specials and nine albums reaching multi-platinum status as well as a latin guitar instrumental album entitled “Guitarradas” which he composed with guitarist Pavlo. He was also on the hit PBS special Live in Kastoria, Greece and topped the Billboard and iTunes Charts both as a vocalist and as a guitar instrumentalist. He left the music industry behind and has since given his life to Christ. He continues to write and record and to perform with a mission to help those in need. His most recent album “Cadeau du Ciel” features original songs in French, Portuguese and in English. His next album A Voice Crying In The Wilderness featuring original songs of praise will be out in the summer of 2024.
