A Men's Shed is a space for men aged 17+ to go to build. 'Building' can be relationships or birdhouses or a community project.
Men's Sheds started in Australia in the mid 90s. They now have more than 1,000 Sheds. In the United States there are hundreds. Canada has about 125. But we have none here in Nova Scotia. I need to change that.
For just hangin' out and chatting over a coffee our Shed has a wonderful sunroom facing south. Comfortable couches and a kitchen table invite guys to work on plans or share whatever's on their minds.
This is a drop in kind of venture. Come when you can. Leave when you must.
