Join the Kings Historical Society for our Annual General Meeting, followed by: On the Road: Nineteenth Century Itinerant Photography in the Annapolis Valley.

In 1879, photographer Jeremiah Tuck commissioned a rail car which would allow him to transport his studio and darkroom. The Palace Railroad Photo Car was a welcome guest in communities across the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and even the United States of America. What do we know about the Palace Railroad Photo Car and its construction? Which photographers operated it? What eventually happened to it? Join guest speaker Jeff Ward and find out!
