Artist Bio:
Trevor Novak is a visual artist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He grew up in Toronto, Ontario and received an Advanced Diploma in Ceramics from Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario (2015) and a BFA in Ceramics from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia (2017).
His art practice is focused on sculptural and digital creations that reflect the real and imagined worlds he lives in. This blending of realities exists both as context for his work and in the material languages he engages in. At the centre of his practice is a desire to make people laugh, and through light hearted imagery introduce the viewer to deeper, more uncomfortable subject matter.
