The Annapolis River Festival is a family-oriented event centered on the Annapolis River. Dragon boat races are at the heart of the Festival, with 18 teams competing (advanced registration is required for teams, individuals can register to join teams who need additional paddlers). Admission to the site is free, with a wide variety of activities free of charge including the "Skills Village", kids' games, guided boat tours (advanced registration recommended, seating limited), and live music. A variety of food and beverage vendors will be on-site (please bring cash, as some vendors have no option to pay by card). Participants can get on the water in our canoe obstacle course, or in the canoe/kayak/SUP sprint (limited boats available for loan on site).
