Join us at ARTSPLACE to meet Anna Rail, Executive Director of CARFAC Maritimes.
Ms. Rail will tell us, via Zoom from New Brunswick, about the wide variety of services offered by CARFAC, such as copyright guidelines, re-sale rights for artists, recommended fee structures for exhibits and artist-led public programs, taxes for artists, and more.
You will also hear about Imprimo, an online platform that encourages storytelling and collaborations among artists.

The Canadian Artists’ Representation/Le Front des artistes canadiens (CARFAC) is incorporated federally as a non-profit corporation that is the national voice of Canada’s professional visual artists. CARFAC Maritimes, established in 2003, is the regional affiliate representing New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Come learn about the services that they provide such as standards for best practices, artist fees, tax topics, and more.
