Experience the magic of ‘Sofa Sundays’! Enjoy live music from talented performers, nestled upstairs in the Artists’ Landing Art Gallery.
Dartmouth-based indie-folkers, The Public Service have had a big year, bringing their uplifting act to the main stages of The IIHF World Juniors, Full Circle Festival, and Stan Rogers Folk Festival.
Their debut album, Songs For The Living (2022) is a collection of love letters disguised as folk songs for people and places left behind. When not with their full five-piece band, lead singers and lyricists George Woodhouse and Joss MacNeil tour as The Public Service duo, serving up an intimate storytelling experience that puts their lyrics and harmonies front and centre.
The Public Service was founded on the belief that sharing your gifts with the world is a public service. Their infectious stage presence and inviting choruses make it hard not to join in song.
