The CIBC Run for the Cure is an annual fundraising event in Canada that supports the Canadian Cancer Society's efforts to fight breast cancer. It is the largest single-day, volunteer-led event in the country dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, support services, and education.
Participants of all ages and abilities take part in a 5K or 1K walk or run. The event brings together people affected by breast cancer, their families, friends, and communities to raise awareness and contribute to the cause. The funds raised go towards research into prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care, as well as supporting those currently living with the disease.
