Event in Room: Upper Floor

Join Laura Churchill Duke as she celebrates the launch of her third novel, Footprints in the Snow, another historical true crime story but this time from Bear River.
On an early morning in 1896, young Annie Kempton is found murdered in her own home in Bear River. Within the next few hours, Peter Wheeler is charged with the murder and subsequently arrested.
Using newspaper articles, and trial transcripts, the true story of the murder of Annie Kempton is retold using creative non-fiction.
This event will feature readings by the author and special guests, musical performances by Sharon Churchill Roe and will be hosted by Kings North NDP Candidate, Gillian Yorke.
Footprints in the Snow is published by Moose House Publications and is available in local bookstores across the Valley and online through Amazon and Indigo, both in print and e-reader format. Books will be available for purchase and signing during the event.
The launch of Footprints in the Snow is free and open to everyone. It is a live performance, therefore not a drop-in event.
