Doors open at 9:45am

During this workshop, we will explore various nature-based wellness practices and activities, including a guided Forest Bathing session lead by Wil Brunner of Soft Pine Wellness, a certified Forest Therapy Guide.

This session will feature and pre and post health assessment to observe changes in our bodies such as blood pressure. We will also explore how nature plays a role in our individual lives through expression and discussion. The workshop will conclude by collaborating on how to further develop nature-based wellness and land conservation and share details of an upcoming retreat.

Please arrive for check-in at 9:45am.

Location details: We will meet at the intersection of Morse Road and Neaves Road. Cars can park along the road and carpooling into the forest will be sorted out.

What to bring/wear: warm layers, waterproof outer layers and sturdy hiking footwear. A heated tent will be available for warming up. This is hunting season: hunter orange vests are available, but please bring any you may have, to ensure everyone is bright and visible. Please bring snacks and water (some water refilling will be possible).

Food: this is a BYO-lunch event - please bring sufficient food for the day. Nature-inspired hot drinks and snacks will be provided.
