December 6th is Canada’s National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence against Women. Please join us for a ceremony to commemorate the lives of the 14 women killed on December 6, 1989, at the École Polytechnique in Montreal and to reflect on the broader crisis of gender-based violence. All are welcome. Kid’s activities will be available. A community mingle will begin at 3:30 PM
Presented by the Women’s and Gender Studies Program and the Human Rights and Equity Office, with support from the Office of the President, Acadia University.
