LOST & FOUND: Painting on driftwood with Becky Thompson
Monday-Friday, July 7-11, 1:30-4:00pm, ages 11-14.
DESCRIPTION:
This year, we'll be inspired by the tradition of Nova Scotian folk art.
Every day life (animals, plant life, buildings, vehicles, people) will influence the design stages.
Once a design has been completed, students will sand, prime and paint flat beachwood and paint their design!
Each finished painting will be varnished and come home wired and ready to hang on a porch or entryway as a jolly welcome!
WHAT TO BRING:
- All art materials are included in the cost.
- Each participant should bring a snack, water, and wear a painting shirt.
