Dance Theatre Camp for Youth ages 7-12 with Wendy Goudie
Mon. July 21 – Fri. July 25, 2025
Participants will put on a free Show for Family and Community on Friday July 25 at 2pm in the Theatre!
Participants will also be invited to be a part of a show on Saturday July 26 at the the Cherry Carnival in Bear River. Time TBA
About the Camp: The costumes, the music, the moves… Creating a dance show is powerful! Participants will spend an exciting week pushing their dancing to the limit, to learn and co-create their own original dance show. 5 days of fun lead to the creation of a whole new dance theatre performance at the end of the week.
The show will also be featured Saturday, July 26th at the Cherry Carnival in Bear River!
Dance styles include belly dance, bhangra, bollywood, flamenco, salsa, hip hop, break dance, jazz, ballet and more.
This week is a creativity & confidence booster! Campers will work as a team to create and rehearse a full show in 5 days, manage lighting quick costume changes, and ‘run their own show’ behind the scenes
