Hard to believe it’s been 7 years since Lennie Gallant last released an English language album!
We can’t wait to hear the exciting original material from this new 14 songs collection. Not that he hasn’t been busy over those years, recording two francophone albums, a Christmas record, and some Jimmy Buffett co-writes, among other things. But the time has come for an honest to greatness release from this prolific 19 times ECMA winner! Join Lennie and his terrific band for a performance showcasing these long overdue new offerings! It will be worth the wait!!
A member of the Order of Canada, Lennie Gallant is a National Treasure. He has released sixteen albums of original songs which have won him a host of awards and nominations from the JUNOs, Les Prix Éloizes, and the East Coast Music Awards. His songs have been described as “true slices of life delivered with a poet’s flair and a rugged emotional sensibility”
He has had a song inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, and shared stages with such artists as Lucinda Williams, Patti Griffin and Jimmy Buffet, with whom he co-wrote and sang 2 songs that were included on Buffet's posthumous release.
