Originally from Athens, Georgia, R.E.M.’s debut album Murmur was hailed by Rolling Stone Magazine as the #1 album of 1983 (#2 was Michael Jackson’s Thriller). They would go on to achieve worldwide fame with their iconic albums Out of Time and Automatic for the People.
King’s Theatre is pleased to present valley musicians Jeff Hennessy, Nicholas D’Amato, Noah Scanlan, Alec Bloch and some special guests in an authentic tribute to R.E.M. that will please both die hard fans and those who only know the hits! Intricate guitar parts, ghostly vocals, driving melodic bass lines, weird and wonderful lyrics…you won’t want to miss this and hear about it later!
