Second Look: Express Yourself, Check Yourself
For all identities, abilities and experiences, aged 12 and up.
This all-ages, all-genders workshop invites you into a playful, welcoming space for exploration, self-celebration, and community learning. Explore self-expression through make-up, costumes and clothing, hair and wigs, hats and accessories. Whether you're experimenting with drag, character, gender, cosplay, or simply exploring new sides of yourself, Second Look offers tools to help you transform - and reflect. Together, we’ll celebrate creativity while also taking a moment to look deeper:
· What’s empowering - and what’s problematic - in how we dress up or perform?
· How do we explore freely without crossing into cultural appropriation or stereotyping?
· How can we express ourselves in ways that are both bold and respectful?
· How do you be your TRUE SELF but still read the room?
Facilitated by members of the local Pride community, this workshop combines tips, tools, and a collaborative approach with open-hearted learning.
